It's too bad you found them, i was in the process of inventing a signal flux capacitor that would have detected it if you were within 3 inches of the fob...

That's nuts. I agree though, sounds kind of shady. How could the keys get wedged in there that far under the dash.
Reminds me of a prominent doctor that purchased one of my S2000's. He asked if I had ever taken the car apart inside and out. I was like well I have taken the seats out to clean under them, but other than that, the only things I have taken apart were things needed to mod.
He said every car he buys used he strips completly to make sure there are no drugs or illegal things in the cars. Or else he could loose his practice.
A little odd, but I have found rolling papers in a civic I purchased from a dealership, under the shift boot.

I actually thought about suggesting looking behind the pedal but figured you would feel something blocking the travel.
Maybe it is Lexus' new way of dealing with the pedal sticking issue?
