unfortunately, that is true...

This sounds like a huge mess!! Good luck on that fix. You may have these headaches for the life of the car.

Was it bought from a private party, mechanic, or dealer?

Yikes... sorry to hear about the problems.

Did you try resetting the ECU by unplugging the battery and reconnecting it? Perhaps, it's a false reading or some hick-up.

We can't help much unless we get some error codes from the scanner. Hopefully, it's not too serious. FYI, fixing a Lexus is not going to come cheap... If you end up needing parts, check out Sewell to see if it can save you a few bucks.

i kno that the afs sign thats on is related to your headlights, if you purchased after market headlights without afs (advanced front lighting system) than that sign wont turn off, as to the awd thingy no clue lol

Taking into account the entire situation, for the lights like AFS that will cost you more than its worth, just put some black electrical tape over it (i seriously considered this during the winter when my check system light was on b/c i didn't put sensors into my winter rims).

Some of the others that may be a safety issue, you may have to bite the bullet to correct. Good luck
