Have a little problem with check engine light. (2010 rx450)
First off, I'm new to forums so sorry if I'm not brief or something problematic. I have been lurking in the forums for quite a while and it influenced me buying the car

Now off to the problem. Our car has this regular problem that if we drive it on hot, dry days with higher than normal acceleration, Check hybrid engine and Check AWD system lights come on.
P.S: We usually get the error code when we are trying to accelerate after brief stops. Although it is sometimes hinted during the rides that it is starting to happen when we try to accelerate to take over, it kind of loses acceleration. It accelerates normally after few seconds though
it will turn off after few hours, or days after cooling the car down. We never encountered this problem in urban stop-go traffic or cold days so it only happens during long rides on sunny days on highways.
Anyways we went to Toyota dealership (we don't have lexus here) and got error code P3190. Nothing else! They said that it should have additional error codes but nope! So they were unable to diagnose it.
So the question is: Have anyone of you have ever encountered this problem? If so what was that caused by?
We suspect that this is due to fact of using poor quality gasoline?
Sorry if this is unintelligible as english is not my native language. Feel free to clarify and Thanks in advance.
Your English is just fine, nothing to worry about.
My best guess would be the gas quality.
What gas grade do you fill up with? RON 95 would be equivalent of AKI 90 in US, and the RX is rated to run on 91 or higher. In other words, RON98 would be most suitable for you.
What you can try doing is to clean the MAF (Mass Air Flow sensor) and replace the fuel filter.

Our car has ~45,000 miles. We regularly had it serviced with almost no major service. The only major service we had to do was replacing o2 sensor this summer.
As for fuel, we had to use RON 91 for a while since we were in remote location. For last 2 years we only used RON 95 gasoline. We use RON 98 nowadays though.
We got the MAF cleaned at Toyota dealership recently but we haven't used the car for long rides since then. Might try changing fuel filters if we encounter it again.
And then I have to admit that I don't know exactly where to find Mongolia.
And you feel you should apologize for a possible grammatical error in English?
My world friend, your command of English is better than by some of my friends and/or neighbors.
I studied Latin, French, and Spanish - and can barely order an ad hoc fillet mignon and a piña colada.
Congratulations, and I hope you find a solution to your car's issue here.
