Supposedly it protects the headlamps but it's not really specific... it just says pitting/cracking but does it prevent the common discoloration that bothers us all (is this called pitting)?!

the discolouration is from the UV protecting coat being worn off. having a vinyl over it will protect the uv protecting coat.

either get the vinyl or let it yellow, then get some plastx and then respray with some uv spray.

I ordered the lampgard from Sewell's when they had it on the closeout sale. They're pretty thick. I'd say go for it! I'm happy with them.

Yeah I have the same ones. I had a difficult time installing them bc I didnt have a blow dryer, so I kind of messed up the installation but they are not noticeable unless you really get up on them.

Wow! You were able to install them without a heat gun or blow dryer? I started to at first and I couldn't mold it to the headlight. You have skills lol!
