US has stepped up scanning for radiation from imports coming from overseas from the events of Japan so there should not be a problem.

I watched on the new on Kiro 7 news a while ago that the port of Seattle detected traces of the radiation from Japan on a cargo ship from South Korea. The radiation was only contained to the engine’s air filter for the ship – the filter had since been replaced with a new one. Officials say, if I recall correctly it was likely the filter to get the contamination considering the air filter's size for the ship.

As for the crew and cargo, they came out clean and were allowed to unload the cargo and be on their way.

This was Toyota Canada's comment to dealers:

You're kidding right?...

This has got to be one of the most uneducated question I have ever read in this forum. You should be ashamed of yourself. You should start by educating yourself on matters you're probably only basing on your local news. It's raining in San Fransisco does that mean I'm going to hydroplane in sunny Los Angeles? Probably not. It happened in one area dude c'mon, it's such a shame people can even ask things like this.

XhyDra, I do not see the need to use such a tone. I do not know much about the situation in Japan and wanted search for more information by consulting with Club Lexus. I do not know, that's why I ask.
