I just installed my K&N 33-2053 High Performance Replacement Air Filter.

I'm a little worried, cause it's sort of a loose fit. It clamps down, but the top right can move to and from me about an inch. I can see a gap to where the air filter will allow something to go through.


Any ideas on what to do?

 

I wouldn't use it to be honest. Air flows with the path of least resistance, and it would definitely be pulling with a greater velocity on the side which the filter leaves uncovered and suck in dust and dirt/debris into your engine.

I would get an OEM toyota filter or something that fits correctly.
