Default Transmission help

I accidently drained my transmission fluid today when chaning my oil. I think its transmission fluid. I need help replacing it.

Where do I fill it back up? i can't find it where it is.

What type of transmission fluid does the IS350 take?

Is there a dipstick for the transmission fluid so I know how much to put in?

Will this hurt my transmission in any way?

Please help!

There's obviously a lot you don't know about this gearbox. Read this. You've got a significant problem to solve.

why would he disable your account, lubox is very helpful, hes helped me many times with various things, just be patient he'll respond with some words of wisdom, but something that serious i would go to the stealership, or have it towed there i would not do anything else to my car since it seems you lack experience in this area, but that happens to all of us so stay positive.

The post he linked to already answers all of your questions.

The good news is it's impossible to drain a really significant amount of fluid from the IS350 transmission. (hence why you can't change your transmission fluid in the car).

It has no dipstick because you don't ever change it, it's lifetime fluid.

so is that good news or bad news. His comment, "There's obviously a lot you don't know about this gearbox. Read this. Hey guys i found this link: http://my.is/forums/f115/is250-trans...-fluid-348214/
and it seems others have had this problem. Lobux, is this a simple fix? or something to be worried about? that forum makes it seem like its as simple as adding back the small ammout that was taken out of the pan which is only like 20% of whats actually in the transmission. any help would be great! thanks!!!

I would have the car towed to the dealership if I were you.

flatbed your car back to the dealership and let them handle it....that's the price you gotta pay for not reading the manual....

sorry to see that, but you learn from your mistakes.....

good luck

I'd love to know how..there's no place to attach a fluid exchange machine like a normal transmission.
