Yes the 6's will fit but they are not nearly as bright as the 4 LED High Power Flank bulbs.

I've been reading all these threads about changing puddle lamp bulbs and this one has the best directions! Thanks MRTUND350!
I was reading on another forum about changing the LED puddle lamps on an IS350 and there was several people that posted they had problems with the LEDs melting the lens and housing. They were using Ozium (I'm probably butchering the spelling) bulbs I think. Has anyone had problems with this?
The puddle lamps that are in an new gen limited Avalon is EXACTLY what I want. Are these bulbs compatible and where can I find them?

They fade in and out just like the stock ones, it has nothing to do with the bulbs, that is all controlled by the lighting module. It's just a fade in the voltage going to the light.

wow those 4 led flanks look pretty nice, wish i saw them when i was ordering.
if someone happens to want to take comparison shots for the rest of us, might i recommend setting the camera in manual mode to dial in one constant shutter speed so we can keep the exposure the same. this would make for much better comparison shots.
i only wish i thought about snapping pics of stock vs led bulbs, too late now, sorry!

The 4 LED high power flank style bulb from V-LEDS.com has the equivalent output as 40 standard LEDs. I don't even think you could fit a board with 40 LEDs in that housing. So IMO the V-LEDs bulb is the best way to go. Super easy to install, and no fussing with mounting a board...... just plug n play!
