Climate Control/Heat
mmmm I know this is dumb but how do you put on the heat? The climate screen always says Air Conditioning in the top left even when the A/C button is not highlighted that it's on.
I assume you just put it up to HI but it seems weird that the screen always reads Air Conditioning.
The manual only mentions A/C.

It's an automatic climate control. You press "auto", set the temperature you want, and the system automatically heats or cools as required. It's pretty smart: it waits for the engine to warm up, gradually ramping up the fan in cold weather. And if you stomp on the gas, it automatically reduces the capacity of the A/C compressor to reduce drag on the engine.

the funny thing is that everyone always calls the cooling part of an A/C the air conditioning when in fact whether heating or cooling the unit is "conditioning the air. even if the display reads air conditioner it only heats or cools depending on the temp you set it at. if you press the A/C button i think it only increases the power...that is what i have noticed seeing as i always have A/C on and the temp seems to determine whether i am being heated or cooled.

When the A/C button is on, the compressor remains engaged (except when it is too cold outside to run it safely). The compressor in our car is a variable displacement design, able to vary its output from near zero to 100 percent. When the system calls for heat, the compressor runs at a very low output to dehumidify the air before the heater core warms it up. When the system calls for cooling, the compressor runs at a higher level and bypasses the heater core.
