No, I said:
"The fit is pretty quick up to 40 mph (rather comparable to the IS) and then it goes down hill to hell"
The fit is geared VERY low and pops off the line very fast untill it gets to about 3rd gear where it gets hammered. It has just about no power to speak of at freeway speeds but amazingly more then you would actually expect it to have.
I would estimate it like this. If you pull your IS350 up to a Fit for a drag, up to 40 mph you might have a car length or 2 on him and then after that the Fit would completely and utterly fade from your rear view mirror.

The headlamp assembly takes up more than half the hood! Crazy.
But those are clean lines. Don't necessarily wait on the next gen, because they don't always design them better: the Pilot, Camry and Accord bodystyles for example.
Good story, jns350. Sorry you got burned like that. From where I'm at, it's like you bought about 40 TVs for a 3-room house!

... We were going for the X5 that day but stumble upon the porsche dealer because they had the cayenne on display....I paid for it brand new and out the door 73k.... my year and mileage (2x,000) now will fetch in the upper 5x,xxx range. WTF...I mean a few years of ownership and I lost 15-20k of its resale value..felt like I bought a tv... lmao... good luck!

Congrats on the fit. I've actually considered that car too (and still am). I went to a honda dealership last week to visit a friend.. and jokingly asked his sales associates if i could trade my is-f for 4 honda fits. You should of seen the look on their faces lol.

Only reason I didn't buy the IS-F is because the Lexus dealer only offered me $28K for my IS and pretty much told me I should private sell it (which I did for $36K)
