Default Rear non-centre headrests

Is it just my car or does the rear non-centre headrest can't lock when raised.

They just pop right out when i tried to raise them.

That is correct.

You can pull them out all the way, but you need to push the latch to lower it.

What i meant was, you cannot raise it step by step as you could with the others. They either sit flush or competely removed.

i think it locks in place but you have to pull it up pretty high. to be sure, pull it all the way out and check to see if theres a notch at the end of the 2 prongs.

ok i just ran out to the garage to check. mine has only 1 notch that will allow it to lock into place. it only raises it about 1 inch from all the way down. when i mean all the way down i mean the headrest actually touching the seat. in other words, when the headrest is touching the seat, i can raise it 1 inch where it'll lock into place. that's the only locking setting... if i raise it more it'll just slide out.

Are you sure? 1 inch is still a raise, mine just sit flush with no daylight inbetween it and the seat.

FFS i need to go check it again...

Edit,

You're right, mine had been sitting on the notch all along, that's why i though it couldnt go any higher lol. Sorry guys.
