Dealer left off oil cap

Dave's advice was good and now you've documented the problem. However, I would have the oil changed again immediately, or at least sent to Blackstone for analysis. Here's why: the engine pulls filtered air through the PCV system into the engine. If your oil cap is missing, it pulls unfiltered air through the oil cap opening. This means any dirt, dust, or debris in the air can get pulled into the engine and contaminate the oil. This will show up on an oil analysis as a high silicon content. The other issue is, because this air is unfiltered, it is also allowing unfiltered air into the engine.
Both of these are service life issues. They will not present immediate problems, but will undoubtedly affect the ultimate service life of the engine. So, if it were mine, I'd get another oil change immediately and I'd take a sample of the oil in the engine right now and ship it to Blackstone for analysis, then compare the results with this thread for baseline numbers. If you see abnormally high iron and silicon, you know dirt got into the engine and caused undue wear. Then you can decide what you really need the dealership to do to compensate you for the true damage done.
