Just got my system done...PICS!!!!!
goals:
1. good sound quality while maintaining stock HU
2. relatively stealthy look but maintaining full access to the spare tire
The front stage is a pair of DLS ultimate UR36i 3 way components, the 6.5" midbass is sealed in the door via a pair of enclosure cups, and the mid and tweet are in custom built suede trimmed kick panels. the doors are also dampened
to get better bass into the cabin, the stock rear sub was removed
the DLS remote bass control module resides int he stock astray location
moving on the trunk, here is the normal view, nothing fancy or showing, just a wall of charcoal carpet. the wall matches the trunk's sides and top and bottom all the way across.
pop out the center grille, unlatch and pull out the bottom though, a 10w6 and a DLS reference RA50 5 channel amp can be show, trimed in red suede (SDSU colors!) just to give a bit of uniqueness to the install
and here you see the spare tire is fully accessible
and one more behind the scene picture of the huge amounts of wiring behind the amp rack, tied up neatly and bundled so the drawer would slide in and out without a problem
REVIEW: the whole experience working with B was awesome. he was very professional the install is flawless. i highly recommend him to do any car and i really enjoy my system. the highs and mids are great and the bass definitely makes my rear view shake. msg me with any questions directly.

i can still use the footrest because i can get my foot around the footpedals. but i sit with the seat all the way back so i am used to driving with my left leg bent and my foot being flat on the ground.

looks pretty good. Nice and clean is always nice to see
You said three way DLS, did you put the tweeters in the kicks or in the doors? It appears that you have some tweeters in the doors. How do you like the sound of the DLS speakers? We did some in a customer's G35, I thought they were decent but I don't think they were supplied with enough power for their true potential.
