2004 IS300 Battery post were reversed and car wont start PLEASE HELP
So my battery went dead and asked my friend to take it and get a battery , well friend put a battery that the post's were reversed and hooked it up and started the car. I was told that it wouldnt start and the lights got stuck on. Then the correct battery was put in and of course it wouldnt start it does turn over. I have replaced the main fuse and also checked all the other fuses.
Anyone have any ideas....

Ouch, so basically the terminals were reversed? Was the battery put in backwards? So many things could have happened, idk where to even begin to think of where to start. If you're on my.IS forums, PM Jasonm4444.

That definitely sucks... you may have to go as far as replacing the PCM/ECU
If you are here asking for help, it would probably be advisable to take it to a trusted mechanic or the dealer...
If I was to guess, my first guess would be engine computer, second guess would be fuel pump computer...
If you think you are up to the task, there are some tests we can do and I can attempt to walk you through most of it...

It's best to take this to a reliable shop and have them fix it, it's not a good idea to try and mess with it yourself. If you were around SoCal you could have come to us and we would take care of you. In any case seek out a mechanic bud, pm me if you still need any help
