Whats my car worth
Hi guys i have a stock is300 with 102k miles. its a 5speed. i just had it on ebay no sale. Im wondering what its worth. im the original owner. I had it up at $9000 i figured it would have sold for that.
it has all the service done even the timing belt was just changed. can you give me an idea what to list it for?

There's a lot of factors to consider, but obviously the low mileage is a big +. Asuming that the exterior and interior are in great condition, you should be able to get that out of it no problem, maybe even a little more. But if the interior is worn & the exterior has dings & the paint is not in the best condition, then you will have to let it go for less. Maybe you have to be a lot more specific when you list your car for sale. Also, the manual LSD is hard to come by, so that's definitely a huge plus too.

have a look at it here
The interior is very good. The exterior also, it does have stone chips and a few small door dings but nothing major at all. Take a look and let me know

Looks to be in great condition, but you can't really tell from pictures. But I think you should have no problem selling it for $9k. I just think yoh have tO do a better job at describing your car when you list it.

I have a detailed description on eBay. The interior is very clean the exterior is maybe and 8/10 it does have some minor scratches and door dings but it's never been in an accident or painted except the one door was bumped years and years ago.
Mechanically its perfect. Everything works and has been fully serviced. It's actually amazing how quite it is for 100k miles. No rattles, squeaks, nothing.
I was actually hoping for like $10.5k i thought that was pretty reasonable for a single owner fully maintained no accident car. Heck I just did almost $4k in standard maintenance over the last 6 months. With brakes, water pump, timing belt, tires, coolant system fluids, and battery all normal wear items I know but not everyone would have all that done then list the car.

Maybe, hard to say... I paid 8500 for mine almost a year ago, with less mileage, with all records and maintenance since day 1, including full, I mean, full 90k service and all the prior services as well... It also had almost new tires on it ($700 worth), new front brakes, and the interior was in immaculate condition, with a brand new factory head unit as well... The exterior was about the same as yours, about an 8 out of 10... It also has a non-standard grille and color matched headlights (that I have since gotten rid of), as well as HID's for the fogs...
So, can you get 9k, sure, but you are going to have to find the right buyer... Manual transmission might not help you unless you are selling to an enthusiast, which will be a harder sell to start... Even then, a true enthusiast knows that the manual transmission in our cars are weak as can be to start...

Make your eBay ad much more professional and similar to those of car dealers. It's a complete turnoff in its current format. Keep your opinions out of it. Your ad looks like a novel.
Fix the door dings and don't mention them or the flaws in your ad. Let your photos (many more photos including closeups of body panels) speak for you. Remember that you are selling the car "as is". Again ... cut out most of the verbage.
Aftermarket audio turns most people off - consider reinstalling the original. It's going to be tough enough moving a 5-speed manual.
Detail the car as much as possible but avoid the "Armorall" slick and shiney route.
Ignore Kelly Bluebook values -- I have no idea where they get their data - it's never been close to realistic where I live. Knock the price down. I'd recommend starting at $7,995 to get it under that $8,000 psychological threshhold.
The only Lexus I sold in a private party sale went in a couple of days and I had several guys bidding against each other. It had zero dings, a perfect interior and far more miles on it.
