Hoorah!!! I Bought My First Car!!
ive been trying to get a lexus for a while now. Well, I didnt get one. Instead I went to the auction for the 4th time and found a high mileage Infinity. Its an 1993 Infinity J30 with 180k miles, I know thats a LOT of miles but the interior is Timberland Boot wheat color and the outside is dark green. The interior is in amazing condition, the car is fully loaded. Sooo, I bought the car fro $3700!!!!! Im extatic, and will have it in my hands tomorrow. Im planning to keep it for about a year or two for mostly non-highway driving. Anyway the money I paid is all mine, and im really proud of myself because to me this car is almost a Lexus.
The interior itself is worth the money, trust me. So ill be pimpin hoes in this car. Not bad for a first car eh? what do you think. Dont tell me 180k is a lot of miles, i know

The J30 is a great car with sweeeeeeeeeeet looks.. The interior color is to die for! I have an Uncle in Stone Mountain, GA with a 93 J30 ti with about 150K that runs good as new! I hope you enjoy it while you have it...

Well you'd obviously need the applicable rear diff (if the J30 is not limited slip OR the rear gears are something totally off of the N/A 5-speeds rear of 4.09)
custom lengthened driveshaft, which is pretty easy... you'd need a clutch and flywheel, pedalbox, clutch master cylinder, and slave cylinder...
and MAYBE the starter, depends on how easy it is to mount the one that comes on the automatic

i finally got the car IN my hands today, its awesome, just a few things I gotta fix:
1. Replace the broken off antenna
2. Fix the static sound in the radio, might be cause of it's new reciever
3. Fix the interior lights like speedo, lamps inside, and all glowing things that are adjusted by that little wheel. Yes, it dark in here. hhehe
OH, i looove the way the car steers. Does anyone know of any places that sell performance or mod stuff for this car? I at least need to find an infinity forum, cause otherwise ill be a sad boy.

hey man, congrats on your new car. Those J30's are cool cars indeed, you should have lots of fun with it. Do you have that cool clock in the center of the dash? My old man had a Q45 that had a cool *** gold clock in the center of the dash.......the *****es loved it

thats really cool man, I need a power antenna, and a leather door part that is right under the window(driver side). Could you get me some info? Also, my interior doesnt light up(shifter, speedometer, ceiling lights, only the radio(seperately wired) and the climate control part, but the climate control only lights up when the headlights are off. Plz get me some info on that, I think it just might be a broken light intensity roller adjuster thingy.
