New to the IS forum!
Just picked up a 2001 IS300 Auburn Sky...
only 92k miles with every single receipt from Lexus for service - she's in pretty good shape...
Awesome car... feels very light on its feet... moved from a 93 SC400, so, huge upgrade!!!

In comparison, even with poly bushings all the way around on my SC and everything, the IS is much lighter on its feet than the SC is... I haven't done any real fast handling tests (just put 192 miles on her getting her from Houston to San Antonio), but it definitely feels lighter... (most likely because curb weight shows 350-450 lbs lighter of course!)

I love how my IS feels on the road and in it's handling aspect considering mine is on stock 01 suspension. Still comfortable to daily drive along with having the option of hitting some nice country roads

I haven't done a single thing to it aside from the full detailing...
Will wait til the summer is over to mess with the headlights... its over 100 out right now and the heat can really do a number on them... Seeing as how I don't have a garage currently for it (working on that part) I'll wait... It is on my to-do list...
little stuff planned for now:
replace interior lights with LED's
clean headlights
swap one wheel that is curbed a little with the brand new spare wheel
replace radio antenna
That'll get it as clean as I really think I can get it without paint... then its on to mods
Will probably drive it through the winter as is, then maybe a turbo kit next spring...
