My keys are broken too, I got them ghetto rubber banded after failure of super glu.
However, the shell is broken, Can I order a new shell and then just transfer my key and transponder into the new one? Does the ebay shell let u take out the uncut key?

yes you can transfer the transponder however there is no way to take out the uncut key, so you will have to get the key cut to your car and transfer the transponder and you will be good to go.

no, all that screw does is hold the cover on the back of the key so the remote transponder does not fall out.

I have 1 key, am I really going to have to drop at least $90 on eBay for a complete key w/ transponder and then an additional $20-$30 for getting it keyed alike? I also didn't see any options for a valet key on eBay...

I know probably total noob questions, but we all gotta start somewhere.

If all you have to spend is $90 on a key and remote then $20-$30 to get it cut, that is not bad, call Lexus trust me it will be a lot more
