Default Headlight's don't turn off

Hi guys,

I have an 04 IS300 I bought back in december. Just this weekend I went outside to find my headlights still on. I flipped the switch from auto to on and back to auto and they went off. Now occasionally (but becoming more frequent) it will do this again. I will hit lock twice to make them go off but they just stay on. It has happened twice tonight. Has anybody else had this problem? Is it something lexus cpo should cover?

Is trunk open or the trunk not registering as closed due to a faulty sensor? when you hit the lock does it beep twice or continually? (some IS' have had the beeps disabled in CBEST) but if all your doors are closed correctly, the trunk being open will keep the lights on no matter how many times you hit lock. One thing to look at.
