What new versions of the IS300 would you most like to see?
This is for you IS300 owners (like me), IS300 admirers, and those who do not currently own one but are interested in buying a new one. Lexus, of course, like any other auto company, has a limit to their research, marketing, and development budgets, so obviously they cannot offer the IS in every possible form.
But if you had your choice, what would you most like to see offered?
1. Another hatchback / wagon version like the SportCross?
2. An IS430 V8 ?
3. An All-Wheel-Drive IS300 ?............ (This would be my choice).
4. An alternative-fuel or hybrid version?
5. A 2-door or sport coupe?
6. A convertible with a fabric top ?
7. A convertible with a metal top ? (although this might compete with a possible SC330)
8. A high-performance version similiar to the BMW M3 ?
9. New paint colors.
10. Other ? None of the above ?

As far as I know, Danny Clements mentioned that AWD would be an option on the next generation IS, and that it "will grow to a full line product, similar to BMW's 3 Series". I'm almost 100% sure that we'll see a coupe and convertible, but I don't know if it will be a hardtop or a soft top. I think a wagon is a possibility, but I'm not sure considering the fact that the current SportCross hasn't been a success.
Clements also mentioned a range of engines, and I do believe he said that one of them would be a V-8.
Time will tell, but I'll see if I can dig up some of his old PR stuff.

Not surprising so far.................I expected 3 and 8 to be the most popular.
An IS430 would be my second choice behind an AWD IS300.
