Front Brake issue
Need some guidance on this issue.
Front driver side brake squeals on a stop and release. this is the only side that produces this noise. Brake clearance is still very good and this noise has been off and on since i bought the car in December. Car has about 25k miles on it and will be replacing brakes at 30k.
Thoughts....

I have a similar sound going on and created a thread about it. Mine is in the Rear-Passenger. It is a higher-pitch squeaking.

As others have mentioned this is common with some pad compounds including the OE IS-F compound. When you are ready to replace your pads with a new set we have a couple options that produce much lower levels of dust and are noise free without sacrificing the levels of performance you expect on the street. As always we have additional discounts available for members on here.
The two most popular options are:
Project Mu NS400 PS4F160 D1365 Lexus IS-F Front
Project Mu NS400 PS4R106 Lexus ISF IS-F Rear
Carbotech Performance Brakes, CT1365-1521 (Lexus IS-F Front)
Carbotech Performance Brakes, CT1366-1521 (Lexus IS-F Rear)

Unfortunately, I have Carbotech 1521 (Bobcat) in my front and they do the exact same thing. But I have been lazy and not bedded them in. I know they would be a whole lot better if I did.

Odd. My car only makes that noise temporarily after it has rained and the brakes are drying. If it drives you nuts just replace them a little early and make sure to bed in the new set. Are you really hard on the brakes ??
