Windshield Washer Reservoir Sensor Replacement?
Has anyone done this? My windshield washer warning light is stuck on. I think there is a good reason for it. My washer tank has been converted to a stand alone fuel cell filled with C16. Just looking for any suggestions to have the tank function properly. I assume the sensor, or float (if there is a float) went bad. Heard of people covering them in lacquer or something to repel moisture.

I don't know about the sensor, but another idea could be to just tape over the light the same way we do with the AFS light when retrofitting the 2011+ headlights on the older models.
It might be less trouble to remove and disassemble the cluster than to take the front bumper cover off and actually do something involving the reservoir.

OP: Was the plug unplugged for the washer fluid tank ??

Nothing was unplugged. The low washer warning light came on a few times correctly when the race fuel got low. But after a while it just came on and stayed on.
