Hey Guys,

So I ordered my hood/bonnet yesterday!

Should complement my other carbon parts nicely.

Just wanted to check a couple of things before it arrives.

1. Has anyone actually fitted the hood themselves? Or did you get a shop to do it? Just wondering how difficult the install is, and what's involved.
2. Do you use the OEM hood struts, or different ones? I know they don't recommend the OEM ones for some of the carbon hoods, as the weight is significantly different. Pretty sure the weight of these versus our OEM hoods is marginal?

Guessing you need to open up the windscreen washer nozzles? Seems they come in small on most of the Seibon hoods?

Any/all advice greatly appreciated guys.

Yep! Dremmel out some material on the washer nozzle ports in order to fit. You will need to drill one hole to tap the clip for the washer fluid line. Other than those, you can install it yourself. Stock hood struts will be fine.
