Default Fixing scratched center console in IS F

Any ideas on how to repair some scratches in the center console on an IS F?

The scratches are in the vertical black plastic section of the center console. I stupidly scratched it one day I needed to take the driver seat out, when I was putting the seat back in the car. The scratches are basically where the buckle for the seat belt is (to the right of your right leg, if you're the driver.)

Thanks!

Does Sewell sell that part alone? If not you could tape off the carbon fiber panel and wet sand and polish it. At the very least you could use plastic polish. All depends on how deep the scratches are.
Good luck.

I would test clean the spot with a magic eraser to see if it can be reduced, then shine it up with an dash dressing, in a effort to reduce to scuff marks. While not a permenant solution, I find this helps with mine.

Thank you guys for the input. I know this thread is useless without a picture, so I'll snap one and post it later.

Call a company called Fibrenew. They are interior repair specialists and they are mobile. Thye will fix it cheap and it will look like nothing ever happened. They can even do the fake texture look to the plastic again too. You have your problem solved. Even the dealers use them

http://www.fibrenew.com/

They are national. If not in your area at least you know what companies to call

Thank you! Just checked out their website, and based on some of their "before and after" pictures, it seems to be EXACTLY what I need. If only I knew what product(s) they use, since they don't have any locations in South Florida.

What did you mean by "if not in your area at least you know what companies to call"?

Have you ever used them? Oddly enough I have them coming here in about an hr to touch up another car I have. Almost nervous about them making it worse as it's really not that bad right now.

How has it held up?
