WORLDS FIRST SUPRA 2URGSE and AA80E 8 speed SWAP
Anyone catch this build thread? Looks like some interesting stuff. May hold some hope for building and tuning the 2UR.

Our engines have been swapped in an FR-S before.. its been done and its out there.

If you were really serious you would of googled this and ran a complete standalone already. Less talk more action.

Then what are you waiting for?? Any engine can be tunable, but you lost the practicality of the car by doing so.

Regardless, it worked. Changing to an LS has multiple advantages in drift cars, cheaper/easier to source components/lighter/etc. My friend helped built the ARK drift car with an LS motor and now hes building one to swap into his own Porsche. LS motors are THAT much better.

"Max Orido decided to by pass DI, and unfortunately it caused major engine failure.
The DI injectors heated up as they had no fuel flowing though them (an inbuilt mechanism for cooling) and caused Det melting one piston, and melting an injector tip in another cylinder."

the DI is the reason why the engine is able to run on a higher compression ratio near 12.0 like the 350 and 250. It probably detonated like crazy before those parts failed. The DIs injects fuel during compression which cools the air/fuel charge enabling you to run a higher compression ratio without detonating. Big mistake.
