Thanks mate, do the junction connections simply come out in one piece? or do I also have to unplug the individual wires connected to it?
and I just released I posted this in the wrong section, can someone move this to the general ISF section?

You should clearly be able to see that there are individual connectors. You don't pull the wires out of the back of the connector, you just unplug the connector from its respective socket.
For example if you look at the ECU as RCB pointed out. There is a loom full of wires running to the front, that is one connector, then another behind it, etc.. Keep moving down the line until they are all unplugged.
This should be very, very simple.

There is no maintenance reason to do this except the valve lash inspection or pulling the engine.

^ I did search but didn't find any DIY for removing the ECU, just the steering ECU.
