Should I go with Tein H. Tech or Swift Racing Lowering Springs?

I just recently acquired a 2012, want to keep or have a better comfortable ride... Just want to lower it for looks!

Which one is more reliable, less to sag, more comfort?

I had tein's up front and I could have sworn the passenger side started sagging a bit. I think the general consensus on the forum is that the swifts are the best lowering springs not only for our cars, but in general.

I was close to ordering Swift springs until I read a review on here by NYC ES3. Do a search specifically here on ISF forums and you'll see the review. He mentioned that handling actually became worse. So OEM it is for me... I like the stock firm ride and with the crappy roads all over the boroughs of NYC coilovers wouldn't be worth the headache.

Don't forget Eibach also. I can't speak from experience but I understand the drop is slightly less than Swift and Tein.

For the 2012 - 2014, the only available option at the time I ordered springs was Swift Sport Springs. It does give the car a nice drop in the front and keeps the same height in the rear. It did what you wanted, lowered the car for looks, but now I want more low LOL. Aside from wanting to go lower, I too did notice a slight change in ride quality (a bit softer) but instead of going back to stock, i'll be placing an order for BCs coilovers w/ Swift Springs shortly. GL with your purchase bro!

Eibach springs work well with the factory OEM shock setup or even aftermarket Tokico HTS like I had on mine previously:

Eibach springs worked well with my IS F. I've tried them with the OEM Tokico made shocks as well as the aftermarket Tokico HTS Dampers. Eibachs have worked well for me in the past in my previous IS 300 and my Solara back in the days. Here's a review I did a while back on my Eibach and HTS setup:

The only reason why Eibach wasn't one of my choices, because it doesn't give much of a drop... Will the Tein not work on the 2012 IS F, so my only resort will be Swift?!

The 2012- 2014 suspension changed to include the front strut design. So unless Tein jumped on it and made new springs, yes your on option at this time would be Swift. I bought mine from Figs: http://shopfigs.com/v1/SWIFT%20SPORT%20SPRINGS%20IS-F

And here is my thread on 2012 - Up lowering springs to include other's experience on the subject: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...g-options.html

Wow, just did a little searching... Looks like Swift is the only springs that works with the 2012+

Sorry everyone

I've done coilover on most of my past cars, but did research that our shocks are really good, would last even with the drop, and I'm not looking for track or extreme performance.
