Default has anyone done this???

I was thinking of shortening the shifter shaft that holds the shift **** so is lower, cut a piece of the top and rethread the shaft with the proper thread . we used to do this on subarus back in the day abd it felt nice!!!

i took the **** off, found a drill bit as wide as the shifter and drilled about half an inch then just screwed the **** back on. pretty easy.

it looks good in park but it does get longer again when you put it in D or M mode.

i was thinking of taking the whole assembly off , cut the shifter shorter and weld this to it and put an ARC Ti **** on it. i think it would look pretty sick.

I did this tonight and just for reference I used a 5/16th drill bit. As ISFPOWER said looks great in park but when in D it will look higher due to the arc that the shifter goes through. Still better than stock though for sure.
