Default are rear tires on 2012 255 or 265?

I thought I previously read that the rear tires were increasing to 265 but on Lexus' website, it's still showing 255.

Front: 19 x 8.5-in forged aluminum alloy wheels manufactured by BBS®, with 225/40YR19 summer tires [9]
Rear: 19 x 9.5-in forged aluminum alloy wheels manufactured by BBS®, with 255/35YR19 summer tires [9]

Can anyone with a 2012 confirm if it's 255 or 265?

The 2012 has 265 in the rear. The rims are 0.5 wider all the way around vs previous models.

The rears are still 255. There was a thread awhile back on this since some of the printed materials erroneously showed 265 instead.

Anytime a rim is wider it allows for wider rubber to fitted.
More contact patch with the ground= more traction; more traction= faster 1/4 mile times...

2012s do not have 265, they are still 255s just like all previous years.

I stand corrected. The 2012 Tires are still 255, sorry for the mis-info...
255 is simply just not enough rubber on this car. Even with Michelin Pilot Super Sports it can get a little tail happy punching it a low speed. The nice part about the 2012 wheels is that you have an extra 0.5 inch which helps fit a little more tire comfortably without having extra sidewall bulge... I would like to eventually go to a 275 or 285's for more sure footed acceleration, but I am not complaining because I like getting a little squarely
