Default Tires Rotateable?

I've read on here that you cannot rotate the rubber on the IS. Which model tires does that apply to?

I'm specifically curious about the Dunlop Supermaxx's that come on the sports package. Why can't they be rotated?

You cant rotate staggered set up because the front and rear tires are different sizes.

Usually means the rear wheels are wider.

Check the side(walls) of your tires. You should see 225 40 18 or similar. The 225 refers to the width in mm, 40 the ratio of sidewall height to tread width, and 18 is the rim diameter.

So...if you see 225 X X on the front and 255 X X on the rear, then you know your rears are wider (225 < 255).

To put it all together:

you can't rotate front to back because they aren't the same size tires. Depending on your tires, you probably can't rotate left to right because the tires are directional. If you really want to rotate left to right, you could unmount and swap the rubber to the opposite side.....
