My car is in the shop right now getting the install done. As soon as it's finished I can give you my opinion. I know mitch had this set up as well and he said it was much better than the QES with the headers, but all depends on your definition of livable lol hopefully I can provide some more insight tonight.

Yep same set up as you. I pray that it will be up and running tonight. My o2 sensors on the stock headers were stripped so I had to order new ones. I'll try to record a quick vid on my phone if everything is completed tonight.

yes theres always something wrong when you work on your car. But I am so tempted to get these headers, people have been raving about how different the car runs after the install. I get giggles just thinking about how much more grunt and response the car will have after the install.
But with so many negatives with;
1.possibly voiding the warranty
2.Smog issue
3.noise level with the POPO
4.finding a shop I trust to do the install
5.Price with labor and new 02 sensors which will be way over $2k

Honestly the sound is not bad at all. I'd say it is very aggressive with the des but shouldn't be a problem with the popo. I experience very little drone as well. I think the cause of my problem is that the exhaust flange did not match the flange on the headers. The way they are connect has it bending at a weird angle so my pipes hit the bottom of the car. Taking it back tomorrow to see if we can plag with the pipe positioning.
