Noise from rear when on steep driveways
There is a large clunk/thump/click/bump sound that occurs when I enter a driveway that is steep. I enter it slowly at an angle, 45 degrees, almost feels like I end up on 2 wheels, almost as though the car tilts and sometimes I hear one of the rear tires lose traction. I always enter the driveways very slow and at an angle to prevent the front from getting scratched. Does anyone hear that? I think the sound is coming from near the rear tire. Maybe it is a chassis or suspension issue? Is something loose? Broken?
Thanks for your help.

Well it does not sound like something that just happens. It is not very loud though. By steep driveway I do not mean anything crazy, I will post a picture. It is pretty loud.

On very steep grades, like twice the size you picture I hear a buzzer go off somewhere in the front of the car. Very strange noise. I've heard this 2 or 3 times. An alarm from the VSC? Anyone else heard this noise?

i too had that same experience the very first day i took my F home from the dealership. she went up on my steep driveway, and my rear driver side tire was in the air and spinning like crazy as i tried to steer it onto even pavement. we ended up re-doing the driveway so that it wouldnt be as steep. the loud sound was evident that it was just missing a fourth tire to remain balanced.

You might want to check if the rear rubber isolators on the bottom side of the shock mount, right where the mount meets the top of the spring. Mine were recently replaced under warranty as both rubber isolators have slipped out of place.
