Default Autointerest Track Day Pittrace 9/27/15

Attended another track day with the F bumped up to intermediate. Got my Harrys Lap timer working so actually got to track my progress. Overall had a great time running with some race prepared Boss 302s, Vipers and BMWs. I need to work on my lines and but have a driving instructor day booked for October 11 at same track. I manged 125 on the straights and over 1.2 gs in the turns not bad for running garbage Hankook V12 street tires. The BMW I was running with was on Nitto track tires and I was giving him all he wanted and then some.

Enjoy the music.

Looks fun! The v12s are garbage for track. I hated those tires.

God I miss it and its only been 6 weeks LOL. Thanks for sharing, and remember to use the paddles. I think you might be doing what many of us are guilty of......over driving the car a little. Id say slow it down and work on your lines first. Remember to hit all the apexes and come out as wide as you can. Basically use the entire track width when you exit . You have access to some really nice tracks. I love the elevation changes. In AZ we only have 1 track that is not totally flat

Thanks guys. The only plus side is that if I get good on these tires when I upgrade to some sticky meats my times will drop. I still have new brakes, stainless lines, pads, RR Racing Bushings to put on car too. So that and eventually a real lsd should help me drop my times. Right now best lap is 2:10 but my goal is to get below 2:00.

Think that's a obtainable goal?
