Everything You Need To Know To Track Your IS-F
Looking through a lot of the threads, I noticed there are quite a few who take their ISF to the track and some that wish to do so. There are many people on the forum that are very experienced in terms of preparing for the track in general, and preparing their ISF with proper wheels, tires, and modifications. I myself have been to the track a few times but I am still learning how to drive on the track and how to successfully prepare for it. There are small things that can jeopardize your track day, in which you could be better prepared for in order to avoid it. I honestly never been to a track event that had another ISF, until the instructor I was given pulls up next to me in his ISF and my jaw dropped. He knew our car and its limits and that knowledge really helped me learn how to handle the car on track. I would love to see more ISF’s out there, it’s an amazing car to track and it really brings the car to life.
Can the people that track their cars please chime in on preparation for the track in general, and how to better prepare the F. Starting from the most simple things like tools, moving to wheels, tires, and lastly where to sign up for track events.

I think there is a thread for this or several...the most important thing is have fun...unleash the F
I know this was located on another thread but to make things simple purchase the item lobuxracer mention to bleed your brakes. this will let u have more time on the track then remaining under your car.

Yea my instructor was Ray, amazing guy. Took me for a spin in his car, and i almost had a hard attack. The F has a lot of potential on the track, and with practice one can really test its limits. I can really use help on picking up a set of wheels with R compound tires, messaged ER DOC waiting for his response. I know people say if you don't track that often, its pointless. But i feel at the end of the day it makes a huge difference if you switch your brake pads, tires, and wheels between track days. you will extend the life of your track day parts and your everyday parts by far, and enjoy the benefits of both. My other concern was if you get a flat on the track, and even if you fix it you cannot run with that tire. Now it becomes a problem because you would need to have two extra tires with you in order to be prepared for such an event, because you are running different sizes front and back. Makes sense to run same size all around, but would need to change your wheels.
