Has anyone changed their alternator?
I've had the charging system checked twice and diags tell me it's the alt. It looks pretty much straight forward. 2 bolts on the bottom and 2 studs on top.
My question is does anyone know the size of the e-torx needed for the studs?
I appreciate any other tips as well.

Great numbers. The few times i've tested mine, the highest i've gotten was 13.4. You purchased this off rockauto, correct? Easy install? I might look into this if the price is cheap enough.

I know Meade916 on youtube has changed his alternator. He's a huge audiophile and hes on the forums but like once every year lol.

The install was somewhat easy. There are 2 bolts on the bottom and 2 studs on top. You'll have to remove the air box for the top and the belly pan on the bottom. Took me just over 2 hrs. You could probably do it in less.
