Default 08 ISF...thinking about installing LSD,but dont know what to get

im in the Philippines and its easier to purchase a JDM LSD,so i will be crossing out the 11'-14' OEM LSD from my list and just get a bnew LSD....but what brand to get? im looking for an LSD that does'nt make too much noise when turning,i want the most quiet and user friendly (i dont know if its a 2-way or a 1.5way)....any suggestions?

i just want to clarify something....everytime i would go up a steep driveway, i would drive sideways to avoid rubbing my lexon front lip....my car would'nt go up and sometimes people would point at my rear wheels,so i guess when one of the rear wheels is floating,my car would'nt go up the drive way unless i turn the TRC back on.....so if i install LSD,it will solve this problem even when TRC off right?

I have a giken unit in my 08, it's a complete is350 diff swap but the LSD is a full 2 way that was installed by giken in Japan. My vote is for giken it's a great product

If anyone is interested, we will soon have Cusco LCDs for the ISF. Price will be over $1000 less than OS. We can also get the OS, but the Cusco is a great LSD, especially given the price. We recommend the 1.5way version, and we recommend using Cusco LSD oil.

IS F should handle better with LSD. My friends had 09 and he complain about getting stuck on gis driveway going in side way because only right wheel spin.

Yes. You probably wouldn't like 2 way on the street.

2 way is more their "drift spec" diff, stick with 1.5 way for street/track.

The OSGIken is a premium product from materials to maintenance. 1.5 way is all you will need. Tunable in both Cusco and OSGIken the difference is that the OS is the TCD version for the IS-F which means it will be noise free. Each clutch plate features through holes that add lubrication and prevent any chatter or engagement noise. That is the key difference between the standard Superlock and the TCD which is priced $1K higher. So you have to ask yourself what you value more, traction with the sacrifice of potential noise or a luxury standard LSD.

We have both OSgiken diffs in our shop cars, the SuperLock in our drift wagon and the TCD in our F. The Superlock does have a little hum to it (hard to hear once the supercharger is spinning) and sticky on reverse.
