Default Car really stinks when I get on it a little

Are my cats bad already?Anyone have the rotten sulphur smell when they get on it? I have headers installed with stock exhaust, 08 with 24k miles. Smells real bad when I get on it. I have the Magnaflow 59955 metal cats coming in tomorrow. Hopefully this will take care of it. I'll keep y'all updated.

That's crazy. Have you ever asked the dealer about it since yours is stock?

I love the solution to this problem: secondary cat delete
There's sulfur in gasoline, and your cats can accumulate sulfur oxides as a result. When you get on it, the sulfur oxides come out (some as hydrogen sulfide, some as the oxide) = smelly.
No cats no problem

I thought of that but then I didn't want the pure gasoline smell. So I'm going to try those metal cats.

I read online after having the same issue that it is related to the gas you are putting into the car. Perhaps try a new brand of gas.

You shouldn't have the gas smell if you just perform a secondary cat delete. My car didn't have the gasoline smell with no secondary cats until I put headers in.

Yes I have headers already so that's why I am going with the magnaflows. Great price from amazon

Have the same deal here on a 2009 with 9k, leaves a cloud of grey smoke when I get on it as well. Hoping new exhaust system will correct this interested to see what you find out o.p.

You have to make them drive with you. They can never duplicate a damn thing. I'll let you know how it goes Saturday. Just not sure of what location I'm going to install them yet.

Default Hfc installed

So the high fow cats are installed into my stock exhaust to replace the stock cats.. Definitely added some sound. Keep in mind I have headers also. I did feel power increase too. The smell has gone some but is still there. Still glad I did it. Car has really nice tone now. Video is before and after. Very slight difference in the video.
