Default do you use your USB input?

I'm still trying to figure out my USB input, and wonder how you all use it. I had a USB stick plugged in with music on it, in several folders. It worked, but when I replaced it with another, the new one didn't work. Do you access music from your USB input, and if so, what exactly do you have plugged in?

Sometimes I keep an old 6gen Ipod Nano plugged in. It works fine, but its a bit cumbersome to select music through the Nav screen.

I have a USB stick dedicated just for my ISF, loaded with music. I have folders separating the music from bands, then all the tunes within the folders. I just leave it in there, its like a data base of music at my fingers. Easy to access and completely sorted out and ready to play.

A USB data stick is very cheap, find a 16gb stick, load it with tunes and leave it in there. Its hidden in the center console anyways so might as well just leave it in there.
