^ I had the same vision as you. I do enjoy the clarity of the ML system but it lacked the low end sub stage a bit.. So I removed the stock subwoofer and added a really high end SQ Sub
I went with the AudioControl LC2i to compensate for when the ML lowers the sub frequency at higher volumes. I have tuned it somewhat to my liking, but it's still not perfected yet. Right now I have it tapped from the sub stage and it still misses the bass in certain songs. I am considering adding a Mosconi SUM to tap the Front Woofers and the Sub stage together then have it ran through the LC2i

I'm not a big audiophile or anything but I am a stickler for fixing anything that is worn/broken. Can I simply replace all the Levinson speakers or is that cost prohibitive? Is there a better solution to replacing all the speakers? I didn't even know there was a stock sub lol, where is that located?
I guess I am more a set it and forget it kinda guy, if there is a solution where I can just buy the parts and have them installed I would prefer to go that route.

So I searched on here, found a thread relating to my center dash speaker, removed it, super glued the dust cap that was rattling, and voila it sounds perfect again!
But, now im hearing a similar crackling coming from the rear deck lol, not sure which side but it's definitely coming from the rear. Is this typically the sub going out? I don't mind replacing with a new factory sub but will this just happen again (design flaw in the sub or something)? I didn't know if there is a better direct replacement option out there or if are you stuck with the OEM part due to the enclosure size.
