$53.00 shipped, definitely not the cheapest diecast out there.
Lol you think that's bad?! Try the best detailed ones from AutoArt or Kyosho. Starting is around $100 and only goes up from there. You don't want to know how much a 1:1/18 LFA is

Look up BBR Models or MR models for pricey 1/43 and 1/18. (A bit cheaper alternative is LookSmart Models)
(A friend bought a rare 1/43 BBR Ferrari 250GTO serial numbered #01/20 for $900.)
For pricey 1/8 look at Amalgam.
HPI makes the nicest 1/43 IS-F. I have one in SGM and one in USB.
are the HPI ones worth 250 bucks?? I keep seeing on in my MM on ebay and want it but man that is expensive
HPI were originally in the $130-150 range but now they're more rare so selected colors have gone up in price. Sometimes you can snag one for less than $100. USB is the hardest to find. I recall not long ago there was a red one on ebay for about $110 buy-it-now IIRC.
Having said that tho, I now see there was a USB recently sold for $160 which is pretty good considering it's rare.
So... is it worth it? Considering the original prices, probably not. But with anything like this, you just have to ask yourself, how badly do you want it?
The only complaint I have about the HPI IS-F is the wheels are much smaller than it should be. But the body and stance and paint job are pretty nice.
