Does anybody know if the red lens from the ISF and from the ISx50 are the same exact color?

I'm thinking to get the "red out" vinyl to appy over my tail lights. The seller says they will match the red perfectly on ISx50 tail lights, but I'm not sure if it's the same as the ISF.

Yes they are. If anything, the red out on the clear part of the turn signal lens would probably match the rest of the color of the taillamps. Where putting red outs on an amber lens will make it darker just like in the pic.

Haha, no thanks.

I personally think it would be a cleaner look. Besides, if I don't like it, it's only a $7 mistake that's reversible.

I currently have amber LED bulbs because I don't like the egg-yolk look. However, there isn't enough draw in the bulbs so that my turn signals flash fast (really annoying).

If I do the redout, I could go back to filament bulbs.

There is always a better bulb to use...

I am running these PIAA 7440 Mirror Orange bad boys!! Better than an LED turn signal bulb for sure..




First On MY IS350 and now on MY IS-F....

Hmmm.....I think I like these....I wonder if these are brighter than the standard "chrome stealth" bulbs. Can you post some pics of yours when unlit?

^^ They blink just like the OEM amber color bulbs....

The bonus is that you lose the amber color when off.
