Angry Alignment situation

anyways my car seems like it is out of alignment once again, it seems like i keep on constantly visiting the dealership over and over again like every month and get charged for the same thing. im starting to get tired of this and was hoping someone can provide some knowledge or answer my question. it seems like everytime i hit a pothole or bumps the alignment is out on the right side of the car. the left side when i hit a pothole or bumps is fine. no clue on that. when i mount and unmount my wheels i need an alignment. wats up wit that. i complain and complain but its getting no where and i feel like i dont even want to drive the car knowing it will go back into service again. what is the point of getting it in the first place. the service advisor told me that a pothole can cause my car to get out of spec. if that was the case why is it only happening on the right side. i will provide the specs before and after i get this done but as far as this is concern, im not happy visiting the dealership every month. its not like i hit potholes everyday its just that the road is bumpy where i go to work. i take the local road and a little highway if i have to. the car doesn't feel like it rebounds correctly when i go into dips and over bumps. the steering wheel feels heavy when i make a left turn and i get no traction on the passenger side when i enter and exit the parking lot where i work. the car slides literally, wet or dry it slides in that parking lot. i am goin to write to lexus on the issue and im pissed. i had to take a day off just to get my car looked at and wasting my time being here. im sorry for blasting this out but i had enough of this frustration of payin 180 every month for an alignment.

i plan on gettin coilovers soon so im not sure if i will be getting it if i keep on goin back for an alignment.

I don't think your situation is normal.

I hit fairly deep potholes few times (hit hard enough to remember) but never had anything like Alignment gone or something.

180$ everymonth plus wasting time really causes big stress, I know how you feel, even it's fancy nice car.

I hope you find some technical problem on the suspension part (maybe ask dealer or some technics what can cause weak alignment), and solve the problem.

did you take a look at the TSIB for the alignment issue yet???

maybe it's a specific part that might be contributing to your problem

I paid approx $259 or something like that for lifetime alignment check from Firestone. Something to think about.

Do you have to go to dealer for alignment??

maybe i'll try them then cuz im startin to think lexus service sucks. i don't usually go there cuz most of the time i need a loaner so i can get back to work or home from dropping the car off. i will probably stay clear of the dealerships now. i used to avoid dealerships with my previous is250 but with that carbon build up, it made me go back to them. also the fact that now im drivin a high performance car, i didn't want to take any risk goin anywhere else.

Thanks for the link.

Sorry if I'm thread jacking, but I figure this is on topic: My F pulls to the right, but not all the time. The problem is that my car is modded, and I didn't do an alignment after my car was lowered. Do you guys think that Lexus will replace the brackets regardless? Or will I have better luck getting an alignment done first before I make that request?

Also, is it free for the dealership to check the alignment spec on my car? I'm due for the 10k service I figure I can ask them to check it for me.
