Default Brake issues

Hi everyone so my left rear brake squeals disgustingly loud, rear pads replaced as per the tsb and the issue came back in a few hundred kms. I was just in for the 48,000 km service and I was told it was fixed but it's just as bad. I also feel a scrapping sensation in the pedal and hear it from possibly the right hand front. Any suggested causes? I drove threw a flighty puddle the other day with that front wheel and I cleaned it out but abs could be acting up. Car goes into Toyota in a week because I'm 5 hours from a Lexus dealer. Thanks.

These brakes will do that by nature, they are high performance pads/rotors. Seems the squealing can also come from having brake dust caked in the holes of the rotors so something to check. Another thing, if your pads are not bedded in properly it can cause this too. Did you bed your pads in properly when you got the car back after doing the TSB? Another thing is anti squeal compound should be applied to between the backing plates and the back of the pad. If there is none that would definitely be a cause for the noise. Assuming... again, assuming the dealer did that but maybe didn't put enough on.

Whether or not the dealer did everything they were responsible for I'm not sure to be honest. It was the same corner that squealed before the pad change so I would guess its a rotor problem. I did not bed the brakes properly because to be honest I didn't know about this procedure. This is my first performance purpose car. Thankfully even if it's my fault for not bedding they will be replaced under warranty and I'll have another chance. That being said I really suspect something besides the pads due to it being only the one corner.
