The IS C uses the same headlights as the IS F, which are different part numbers from the ISx50 sedan. There have been people that have interchanged them, and I don't know the exact differences, but that has almost always been IS C/F to ISx50 Sedan, not the other way around, so the differences may allow it to work one way and not the other.
Interestingly, the 2013+ IS C F-Sport uses the same front bumper as the ISx50 Sedan F-Sport, and on those models they use the headlights from the sedan to match the bumper, so that indicates to me that whatever the difference is, it has to do with the bumper bracket mounting, so possibly one or more of the holes for the brackets may not match up.

I just purchased a 2010 IS250C YESTERDAY. First registered visit here. My used ISC has "worn" headlights and I know reconditioning only makes them look good for several months. I replaced headlights on my Mazda and wife's Honda with aftermarket ones from eBay. Trying to figure out which ones to purchase for my new to me ISC. All I have figured out so far is that I don't have self leveling.

I gave up on the idea of purchasing replacement headlights. OEM is too expensive. After market via eBay needs too many modifications. Best I can tell I would need HID ballast and would have to "hard wire" the LED's to get them to come on when car started like DRL.
I found someone to professionally recondition my headlights. Tomorrow my tint shop is going to cut and fit a clear uv protection layer over the lights so hopefully they will not turn yellow for a few years. I may explore replacement lights again in a few years.
