Passenger side mirror
<br >Hi all, I am new to here and hope to find some helpful advise. I have a 2012 IS250C in a beautiful burgundy, in Toronto. But silly for me, I accidentally hit the garage door on my way out and cracked/broke my passenger side mirror, but it is still staying on and is not falling apart causing a safety issue when driving. I called the dealer to inquire and they quoted a cost of $900 for a replacement, which is awful a lot of money. I will be taking my car to a garage and see what they can do. In the meanwhile, I am just wondering if anyone has any advice to offer? Or has had similar experience and offer a solution at a reasonable cost? Thank you all in advance! I have attached photos of the damage.

Without disassembling the mirror it would be hard to know if you can get the parts required to repair it separately from the entire mirror assembly, that said from what I can see it looks like you should just need the outer mirror cover assembly, which comes pre-painted. The part number is 8791A-53411-D0 and will likely be in the $100-130 range from your local Lexus dealership.
Good luck!
