Ok so I was at my dealer today to run some errands. I went upstairs cause I know the have the 17 in the inventory. And man was I blown away. It is a step above the pre refresh in every way. I for one admire the new Lexus styling. So sexy. Here are some pics. I esp love the f sport.
I've made the decision to just keep the 2016. Pay it off. Then trade or just buy something new later on.

I don't feel the refreshed 2017 is any better than the 2016, unless money is not an issue for you than I think your wasting money away. I personally think the outer design is a step down from the 2016 model. The front end on the 2016 looks better than 17 and the dual headlights look so much better on 2016. The only worthy change is the bigger Nav screen design. They should have retained the 16 design and gave it the bigger Navi. The interior colors for 17 are also strange, catering to older audience? They removed the gray interior.

You said you're seeking "financial advice"? Then that is a completely stupid idea. No offense man, I'd want to do it too just for the sheer pleasure of having a new car every year. However the depreciation hit you take the first year is ridiculous and you exponentially throw away more money by trading it in now than waiting a couple more years. Ultimately your decision, but financially, it's a bad one. Good Luck!

Pole Position
i like the new taillights and the taillights alone. the rest looks too polarizing and i'm on the unimpressed side of the spectrum.
anyhow, as others have stated, keep the car as you'll be making a poor financial decision otherwise.
