Default OEM F Sport Spoiler removal

How to remove the oem f sport spoiler? I was told to use fish wires or dental floss as it is only double sided tape underneath...

Are you sure there are no holes drilled underneath? If it is just double sided tape and removes like emblems, use a heat gun (carefully) or hair dryer and heat up the adhesive, then use dental floss. That is what I did to remove my emblems. Check out youtube.

If OEM spoiler was delivered from dealer, my understanding is that they drilled through the lid as well. Best to pop off the liner and check before you try anything!

Mine was already installed when delivered to the dealer. It was 3M tape PLUS two screws. To remove the screws, you have to remove the carpet lining and go under the trunk.

Hair dryer and dental floos will slowly do the trick, but there will be two screws that also hold it in.

do you know where the screws are located? I just ordered the below rear lip on ebay. I wonder if this would cover the holes...

Yep, removed the panel and found two bolts towards the middle of the rear spoiler. Looks like it is right on the edge so probably the new smaller lip will not cover those two holes. SUCKS!

yup the screws would've went right on the edge of the trunk. for sure no covering it with a spoiler that sits only on the top of the trunk lid.

Not sure if you were going for the non-spoiler look, but I think that looks cleaner and better on our cars.
