Under Front bumper scruff
Ok so just recently had to drive up a 90 degree drive way and what do you know. the scrape sound we all love to hear. Happens when going out of drive ways and going in.
I want to fix it myself and just want to make sure I have everything down correctly. I'm purchasing all products from automotivetouchup.com
Here's what I'm going to purchase. The paint pens are for a small full scratch on the hood from lovely rocks that flew into my car right as I got into a lane that had a truck in it about 200 ft ahead of me. Great luck.
12 oz Aerosol High Gloss Clear Coat
Aerosol Spray Can Trigger
Surface Wipe
1/2 oz Paint Pen, 2014 Lexus IS350: Obsidian 212
Paint Pen High Gloss Clearcoat
12 oz Aerosol Spray Paint, 2014 Lexus IS350: Obsidian 212
Mini Wet Sandpaper Pack (multiple grades)
Gold Tack Cloth/Rag.
So I'm going to first use the Surface wipes to clean the area. Then use the Wet Sandpaper and do a wet sand. Then spray the 212 black paint on the bumper. Let it dry. Spray some more. Let it dry. Spray one more time. Let it dry. Spray clearcoat. Let it dry. Is that pretty much it?
This is my first time doing this. Any help is greatly appreciated!
