Default Can somebody confirm: 2is F sport intake on a 3is?

I've searched and have came up with three different answers:

1. Yes
2. No
3. Yes, with some minor modifications.

Also, will the 2is F sport filter fix in the 3is air box?

Thanks.

I don't have the lower box. The only parts I'm trying to swap over is the tube & filter.

1. Yes if you replace the entire stock unit with a CAI with no heat shield
2. No if you only want to change the tube and drop in filter. The drop ins are different
3. Yes if you want to add a modified heat shield to go along with a CAI

Not interested in a CAI- guess I'll just reuse the tube and get a new filter.
