yeah it included parts and labor. luckily they had a Christmas discount coupon for brake changes (lucky me i guess) so i had a $60 discount off all that, i guess its not that bad. Though they only changed the brake pads and recycled my rotor so i may have to come in soon for a rotor change?
Mine started to squeak at about 14k if i'm not mistaken. But I didn't expect such an early brake job. Crazily, i had to take it to the dealer because it felt like there was something stuck inside there somewhere. But it turns out my brakes went metal to metal with the rotor

Maybe looking up for alternative brake options would be a better long term solution....

When did Toyota start using rotors that need to be replaced with every brake job? My 1991 MR2 only went through 1 set of rotors (and those were front only) in 120K miles.

Just to share a similar story:
The brakes on my 2015 IS250 started to squeak after hitting 12k miles.
It only squeaks at the first few times of applying the brake (usually when I back out from the garage), and disappears in regular driving.
I guess brake wear out fairly quickly on 3IS...
And like Taideee said, if $300 is your total cost, then it's not too bad.

I also get a bit of a squeak when I first start the car and back out of the garage, but never hear it otherwise. It has been doing that since it was only a few months old, but the cold/winter seems to make it worse.
I have 18k miles on mine now, and my pads are still reading almost brand new per my 15k mile maintenance and recent state inspection, so I guess I'm the outlier here. I drive almost all highway though and was super careful to brake gently while breaking them in when the car was brand new so as not to cause uneven wear.

i had my brakes replaced at around 17k miles. dealership told me i needed new rotors and pads and quoted me $800. i said **** that, so i went and bought my own brakes and did everything myself for a quarter of the price
i went with stoptech slotted rotors and their street pads, stops a lot better and a lot less brake dust!!
